- [+115, -781] I just graduated from high school and I like idols. I especially like Nogizaka and I see them on TV often. I was watching them with my mom and she said idols these days have no charm. I thought they each had their own personality and there are lots of cute and charming girls in the group but after what she said it made question were idols back then that great? My mom is in her early forties and grew up seeing Seiko Matsuda and Akina Nakamori, she said they had a different aura. Or does she just have nostalgia? What do you guys think?

I think they had an aura or rather the talent to be able to promote as a solo. I watched some idols on youtube and they looked so cute and sang really well. I get why my mom says watching the Sakamichi groups is like seeing kids play in kindergarten
