Miss USA Under Fire For Making Fun Of Fellow Contestants’ English
This started from a video that was posted of Miss Universe’s USA representative, Sarah Rose Summers, on an Instagram live on December 13th.
In this video Sarah was with Miss Colombia, Valeria Morales and Miss Australia, Francesca Hung. The three were exchanging comments on Miss Universe representatives from other countries.
Sarah said that Miss Vietnam is “so cute and she pretends to know so much English and then you ask her a question after having a whole conversation with her and she goes [mimicing her smiling and nodding]…
She also touched on Cambodia representative, Rern Sinat, saying “Miss Cambodia doesn’t speak any English and not a single other person speaks her language. Can you imagine?”. She added “Francesca (Miss Australia) said that would be so isolating and I said yes, and just confusing all the time, poor Cambodia.”
